MFC - Dublin 0-13 Kildare 0-06

Dublin Minor Footballers comfortably progressed to the championship quarter-final with a determined victory over Kildare on 05 April. Led my Mark Coughlan at midfield & with Darragh Stapleton & Dean Rock prominent Dublin led by 2 points at half time. Kildare had missed some easy frees and with Dublin improving as the game progressed the Palmerstown forward kicked 4 points to see his team home. Around the field the Dubs were much stronger than their Lillywhite opponents with Lorcan Siwale and James McCarthy tigerish in their tackles. Much done more to do for Gerry McEntee's men who now look forward to their next outing against Meath in Parnell Park on 10 May.
