An enthusiastic crowd applauded the winners of the 2008 Dublin GAA Supporters Club Players of the Year as voted by members.  First up to receive his award was Liam Rushe to accept the Robin Kivlehan Memorail Award as Minor Player of the Year 2008.

With the Camogie team training in advance of their 1st game of the season Rachel Ruddy was unable to attend but her award as Camogie
Player of the Year was accepted by her father Vivian.

Denise Masterson capped an
outstanding year in winning the Ladies Footballer of the Year.

There were no surprises in the senior mens awards with David 'Dotsy' O'Callaghan being voted Hurler of the Year while Shane Ryan was the very deserving winner of the Footballer of the Year.

The last award of the night was the John O'Neill Memorial Award to acknowledge outstanding service in developing games in the county.  This year's recipient for his continuous work as
player, trainer, manager, selector & great friend of those who love our games in the Capital - Mickey Whelan.
