Dublin v. Meath - SFC Match Report

Dublin 1-11 Meath 0-14

Dublin & Meath must do it all over again on June 17 with the sides finishing level 1-11 to 0-14. Conal keaney was in inspired form scoring 0-5 and with Alan Brogan punching home a goal the Dubs held a 5 point lead on a couple of occasions through the game. Ultimately substitutions made the difference for the Royal with Cian Ward kicking 0-5 to share the spoils. The Dubs will learn from this experience & with hope injuries to Jayo & Bonner may allow them be considered to start. Bizarrely the game has been fixed as a double header with Louth v. wexford featuring on the other side of the card. The ticket search begins in earnest.
