Dublin v. Meath - SFC Replay Match Report

Dublin 0-16 Meath 0-12

Dublin's determination shone through as three late points gave them a 4 point win over the old enemy. Mark (Vince) Vaughan starred kicking 8 points, having started as a replacement for the injured Darren Magee. The day also saw the return to action of Jayo, coming on as a 2nd half sub for Tomás Quinn. Meath put in a great effort, seeing a GG goalward shot come off the upright but in truth the Blues were the best team on the day and with more accuracy up front might have closed out the game earlier. Offaly next in the SFC Semi Final.
