Dublin NFL Statistics 2008

Thirty five players featured in Dublin's seven game NFL campaign. With Dublin rotating heavily for the Roscommon game, no player featured in all games. Five players started in 6 games - Stephen Cluxton, David Henry, Colin Moran, Bryan Cullen & Jason Sherlock. Five more were involved in 6 games starting or entering as substitutes - Conal Keaney, Paul Casey, Shane Ryan, Mark Vaughan & Paul Flynn.

Dublin scored 7-79 in the 7 games (an average of 1-11) with Conal Keaney topped the scoring charts with an impressive 1-16 followed by Bernard Brogan with 2-09 & last year's championship top scorer Mark Vaughan with 0-14.

Ciaran Whelan was the most used substitute entering the field on 3 occasions, while Brendan McManamon and Paul Flynn were substituted most, each coming off also 3 times.

The rotation of the Dublin forward line is such that individual shirt numbers for these positions are difficult to critically analyse & therefore it is more appropriate to read information collectively as a forward or as a back.
