Do you remember the All-Ireland final of 1958? Kevin Heffernan’s team of ‘58 brought the Sam back to the capital following a 16 year wait after a hard fought victory over Derry. The Dublin GAA Supporters Club is taking the opportunity to remember the 50th anniversary of Dublin’s All-Ireland success that year with a presentation to that successful team.
The Club has arranged a special dinner to honour that team and a presentation will be made to each player. The presentation dinner will take place in the Regency Hotel, on Friday November 7 at 20:00 and tickets are available at €40 each.
This is a very special occasion and the Club believes that the gaelic games community in Dublin should recognise the achievement of this fine group of players. We would encourage Dublin Supporters to come along to what is a fantastic event and pay a fitting tribute to these players in person.
