Dublin - NFL Statistics 2009

Dublin's NFL statistics for 2009.

As in the 2008 League campaign 35 players were used in this year's NFL. With 36 substitutes introduced over the 7 games Pat Gilroy used the opportunity to empty his bench on each occasion. Shane Ryan was the player introduced most with Kevin Bonner leaving the field on most occasions.
David Henry, Alan Hubbard, Ger Brennan, Conal Keaney & Denis Bastick started in al 7 games but it was Denis who was the only player who played every minute of the league campaign. With the fulback slot acknowledged as troublesome in recent years it is encouraging to see one player make this spot his own.
Dublin averaged 1.14 points in each campaign a 3 point improvement over the 2008 league with top scorer Conal keaney on a very impressive 1.24. he was closely followed by Bernard Brogan on 1.21 who with less playing time than the Ballyboden man must be hoping to carry this prolific scoring form through to the championship.
The league statistics can be compared with NFL stats for 2007 & 2008.
